What an amazing release!.... and quite a surprise. Thank you to FSR (you are on quite a roll) and of course, Joel. I was at the second day of this benefit. Really stunning to have both days released, unedited. Hearing the inimitable Hal Russell announcements and his readings of Egert's poetry transport me back to a time when I saw him play regularly. What a beautiful man he was. These duets are lightning in a bottle and brightened my weekend tremendously.
